Thanks to their efforts, the stands are packed with more fans than ever! Talent is showcased and elevated thanks to their coverage on social media and traditional media coverage. "I feel that we're finally seeing some recognition at school for our sport and ability to play ice hockey for our school. Walking the halls and getting told, good luck tonight. "

– Tuscarora High School Player

I LOVE going to the games and getting to yell my heart out cheering for the team. They have this best student section competetion and it gets real loud and roudy. Super fun times!

Winning the Captains Cup is one of my best memories. sharing it with everyone through Hockey Night in Nova made it even bigger than ever!

How You Can Support

HNINOVA provides an excellent opportunity for businesses and individuals to become involved in the community and support high school hockey. In addition to regular-season advertising, the All-Star game and tournaments include advertising opportunities leading up to the main event and on-site, resulting in exposure to thousands of spectators and players that live and work in Northern Virginia.

To support our goal of making hockey accessible to all, the All-Star game is free to players. We can only do that with contributions from sponsorships and donations, and all fundraising dollars go directly to paying for hosting the games and tournaments. We are 100%, volunteer staff!

Our program also supports non-player students interested in hockey-related careers, like sports journalism, marketing, pr, and photography. Our team includes those high school students working with adult mentors and professionals, and we offer mentoring and hands-on learning. Every year we select a player and a non-player student participant to receive a scholarship to support their educational or hockey career. If you are interested in sponsoring a scholarship, please get in touch with us.
