Our son Connor was in the Potomac Patriots house league last season. He shared with us that he learned no new skills, but really wanted to try out for travel hockey.

In only 10 weeks of working with Coach Alex, he tried out and was selected for The St. James lower A level travel team! This is all due to Coach Alex.

He customized a program for Connor. He did a pre-assessment and systematically worked with Connor to make sure he was ready for the travel tryouts. Coach Alex worked him on footwork, stick handling, passing, checking, shooting and speed.

What sets Coach Alex apart is his knowledge, positive attitude, patience and sense of humor. Connor said, "He is tough, but fun to work with and pushed me to do my very best. He made the drills fun."

Coach Alex was able to take a player who regressed in skills and turned him around to be selected on a travel team in record time!

My son has made tremendous strides since starting lessons with Coach Alex. His skating skills and speed with the puck have improved exponentially. Coach Alex has a great work ethic and is always punctual. He knows how to relate to the kids and keep them motivated throughout their sessions. He’s even gotten my 2 year old skating!

Alex is absolutely great with his approach to hockey training. My son has really enjoyed any and all training or clinics that Alex is involved in or teaching.
