Polished / Mirror — Bladetech's standard stainless runner. Clean release, proven, the value entry into the Flex-Force platform.

Black Diamond DLC — Diamond-Like Carbon coating over the same core blade. Significantly harder surface than bare stainless, which means longer stretches between sharpenings and better corrosion resistance. The pick for players on the ice 4+ times a week.

Custom Color — Same performance platform, finished in your color. Team looks, matched setups, or just because it's yours.

Why Order Through The Sharpening Dude
Your steel doesn't go from a warehouse shelf to your door. It comes to the shop first. I confirm the holder fit, verify the profile is actually on the blade you ordered, and inspect both runners before they ship. If something's off, you never see it — I catch it here.

Before You Configure — Have These Ready

Your holder brand and model (Bauer Tuuk LS Edge / Pulse, CCM XS / SB 4.0, True Shift, etc.) — it's stamped on the holder itself

Your current runner size — printed on the steel you're pulling out. When in doubt, send me a photo before ordering.

Your profile — stick with the Triple Blend if you're unsure. It works for most players.
Made to order. Typical lead time is 3–5 business days before it reaches the shop, plus profiling and inspection. Local pickup available in Annandale, VA, or I'll ship it to you.
