Sharpening dude is the best he’s been consistent and he is so customer friendly his ability to work with you and get you. Your custom blade. Sharpening is outstanding. I’ve been going to him for the past two years. He never quits and he is truly a champion.

Ordering process was straightforward. Easy to select options with provided information. Steel runners look and perform great. Only criticism is the notification process from order processing to order shipment.

John is so kind and does such a good and thorough job. He works those blades in a flash but carefully attends to the details and answers questions about his work with confidence and experience. I brought three pair of figure skates today and was in and out quickly and most satisfied. So glad to be a customer.

I don’t know Jonathan, but my rink has very limited sharpening hours and since I work in DC, I could never get my skates sharpened.

when I saw “the sharpening dude“ show up on my Google maps I knew I had to go. This guy has a PhD in sharpening. He spent 30 minutes with me going over all the nuances and sharpening my skates much better than they deserved, even re-laced my skates for me and took a selfie with brodeur game used stick. Way above and beyond. Five stars.

I can’t say enough great things about Jonathan and The Sharpening Dude! I have been going to him after a lot of mixed sharpening results at rinks and stores in the area and the blades have never felt better/more consistent now. His passion for the sport and craft is apparent and he takes the time to learn about your skating style and needs to provide recommendations as well.
